System Operations Engineer (Central Pennsylvania)

CorpU is looking for engineer to monitor and manage all internal and production systems and infrastructure.

As a System Operations Engineer at CorpU, you should love building and maintaining complex cloud infrastructure in a secure and efficient manner. Supporting CorpU in ways to withstand company growth and owning quality from end to end.

In addition, you will:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.
  • Work closely with the software development team to deploy/manage/monitor all systems and service used in conjunction with CorpU’s SaaS platform.
  • Develop scalable, fast, robust, and best-in-class solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers.
  • Build and maintain highly scalable, reliable and redundant infrastructure to support the business.
  • Provide IT support to all CorpU employees.
  • Audit and enforce CorpU information security policies and procedures.
  • Be on call in support of delivering “five nines” availability to our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience taking full advantage of the AWS products and services.
  • Experience in operating system administration (Linux, Mac, Windows).
  • Experience in computer networking.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and auditing systems.
  • Good understanding of maintaining and deploying fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
  • Experience in software and system deployment automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers.
  • Experience in an information security role.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
