Moderator of Digital Cohort-Based Leadership Development

Using our proprietary cloud-based technology platform, as well as video meeting tools, you will guide a cohort of business leaders through a learning program built with multi-modal activity types, with an emphasis on facilitating structured dialogue and discovery. As one of our Moderators you will enjoy:

  • Working 100% remotely from your own professional office space, no onsite work or travel required
  • Choosing only the assignments that you want and that fit into your schedule, perfectly complementing and supplementing your other teaching, consulting, and coaching work – particularly if those are seasonal
  • Creating your own schedule for the daily online cohort facilitation, then showcasing your energetic performance skills by hosting the virtual live event at the end of each week
  • Continuously learning about/growing in the most topical content areas, with your privileged access to our entire library of courses from our academic partners – top professors and consultants in HR, Leadership, and Business
  • Directly collaborating with our rockstar content authors, as you partner on customer deliveries to guide participants through a bespoke journey where they learn as much from each other as they do from the experts
  • Gaining insight into, and influencing, the leadership needs & goals of Fortune 1000 companies and their people

For each contracted project you will:

  • Shepherd the cohort through the virtual learning journey from Kickoff to Capstone, fostering an environment of safety, belonging, courage, and community, creating the conditions for magic moments (learner ‘ahas’)
  • Become intimately familiar with the course lessons and activities you will be moderating
  • Immerse yourself in the customer’s program goals, culture, and cohort construction
  • Use written communication and facilitation best practices to support the cohort participants daily with learning, completion, engagement, collaboration, and application
  • Track and report on the arising themes from the participants’ discussion contributions and analysis activities, staying aligned with the project team
  • Synthesize participant insights into the presentation deck, coordinate with the assigned Faculty (deep subject matter expert), then host/emcee the virtual capstone live event (60 minute interactive webinar)

To be considered for our Expert Network, you must:

  • Be a learning or leadership professional, i.e. trainer, instructional designer, consultant, business coach, or executive coach
  • Be known as energetic with a touch of showmanship, naturally positive, highly adaptable, and a sincere relationship-builder
  • Be highly tech-savvy with teaching platforms as well as meeting and presentation applications, and work from a quiet, professional setting with updated computer/monitor/audio/video equipment
  • Show evidence of profound attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent writing skills
  • Manage multiple projects at once, flex with client needs, and consistently meet schedule demands
  • Have the availability to log in to the platform daily multiple times (minimum of 3) to perform moderator responsibilities

Ideal Credentials/Profiles:

  • Experience at a similar ed tech organization doing transformative work in online facilitation and coaching, i.e. have used a learning platform with a cohort-based component
  • Runs their own training consulting practice
  • Teaches, practices, or has advanced degree in the program content area; for example, adjunct faculty and practice professors who are able to take on work outside their university
  • Certification as a leadership coach, such as ICF Accreditation or the equivalent
