During the June, 2012 SLEC and LEIC meetings, we grappled with defining the following problems: Baby boomers retiring and taking their unique knowledge and skill set with them; Employees changing roles within the organization - typical of fast growing companies; and Employees leaving the organization for other opportunities. During this month’s meeting, we reviewed the results of our “Taking the Pulse of Social Learning” survey. Then, all SLEC members in attendance shared their answers to the following three questions: Is leadership support for social learning at your company growing, remaining the same, or waning? Is budget support for social learning at your company growing, remaining the same, or waning? What are your plans/initiatives for social learning in 2012?
