Getting to Collaboration and Complex Problem Solving (SLEC 03.29.12)

This month’s Social Learning Executive Council meeting featured a panel of learning leaders who gathered to share their learnings from CorpU’s January, 2012, Social Learning Roundtable in Philadelphia. During this panel discussion, we heard briefly about the panelists’ recent social learning initiatives. In addition, we explored the panelists’ perspectives on the following key concepts that emerged during the Social Learning Roundtable: 

  1. The changing role of the learning organization and the need for rapid up-skilling of learning professionals
  2. Working with or overcoming culture to increase collaboration and complex problem solving engagement
  3. Supporting people at their 5 Moments of Learning Need (based on the work of Conrad Gottfredson)
