The study found that companies are looking to broaden the reach of their programs as far as participation, and are also looking to increase the links between academic pursuits and development plans and corporate strategic interests. There is still a significant gap when it comes to measuring the effectiveness of the programs, even in areas often assumed to be the reasons for having tuition reimbursement like recruitment and retention.
