Started in 2009, the CorpU Social Learning Executive Council is comprised of thought leaders from both the corporate world and the academic world who have been brought together to explore the power, promise and peril of applying social networking and Web 2.0 technologies to the development of human capital. The members of this group meet quarterly to explore how to use technology to improve knowledge and best practice sharing, collaboration, complex problem solving, and innovation.
Becoming a Social Learning Executive Council member is reserved exclusively for learning leaders in organizations around the world in industry, government, and education who are CorpU members. The participating individuals from each organization are usually the senior learning leaders directly responsible for their Social Learning initiatives. Council membership is included in CorpU membership, with one or two representatives from each organization (typically – but not necessarily – the Chief Learning Officer and the Director of Learning Technologies).
Started in 2012, the CorpU Learning Excellence and Innovation Council is comprised of the top learning executives from large, complex organizations (more than 10,000 employees) who have been brought together to share best practices, collaborate and innovate, and be recognized for thought leadership in the industry. The members of this group meet quarterly to tackle complex problems learning leaders face, such as the challenge of how to provide the greatest impact by ensuring their learning organizations are as effective, efficient and innovative as they can be.
Becoming a Learning Excellence & Innovation Council member is reserved exclusively for learning leaders in organizations around the world in industry, government, and education who are CorpU members. The participating individuals from each organization are the senior executives directly responsible for the company’s corporate university (learning organization). Council membership is included in CorpU membership, with one or two representatives from each organization (typically – but not necessarily – the Chief Learning Officer and Global Learning Director).
